The Mockup Factory offers three subscription tiers designed to meet different mockup generation needs:

• Professional Plan: Everything in Print & Sublimation, plus realistic engraving effects for wood, slate, glass, and leather

All plans include free access to our growing template library — The Mockup Studio — included with every subscription.

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Choose your plan on the pricing page, enter your card details, and try the plugin with full access to that plan's features. Your subscription starts automatically at the end of the 7 days unless you cancel first — see Section 3.10.

How to Upgrade

Option 1: From Within the Plugin

• Click on a locked Processing Type option
• You'll see an "Upgrade" button
• Click the button to be directed to the upgrade page
• Complete the upgrade process
• Restart the plugin – New features are now unlocked

Option 2: From the Website

• Log in to your account at themockupfactory.com
• On your dashboard, click Upgrade Plan
• Select your desired plan
• Complete the payment process
• Restart the plugin – New features are now unlocked

💡 Note: Upgrades take effect immediately. You don't need to reinstall the plugin or download anything new.

3.9 Downgrading and Cancellation

Downgrading Your Plan

If you need to downgrade:

• Log in to your account at themockupfactory.com and go to your dashboard
• Click Manage Your Subscription
• Choose your new plan
• Your plan will change at the end of your current billing cycle
• Higher-tier features will be locked once the downgrade takes effect

Cancelling Your Subscription

• Log in to your account at themockupfactory.com and go to your dashboard
• Click Manage Your Subscription
• Select the option to cancel
• Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
• You can resubscribe anytime

What Happens If a Payment Fails

If a payment doesn't go through, you keep access to the plugin during a short grace period so your work isn't interrupted. Update your card on your dashboard to clear it. If the balance stays unpaid past the grace period, access will stop.

What Happens If Subscription Lapses

• ❌ Plugin will prompt you to resubscribe when you try to log in
• ❌ You won't be able to generate mockups until subscription is renewed
• ❌ Template library access is paused until you resubscribe
• ✅ Previously generated mockups remain yours to keep and use

• Choose monthly or annual billing when you start your trial – your subscription continues on that cycle when the trial ends

• Cancel anytime after that – no long-term contracts

Can I switch between plans?

Do I need to reinstall the plugin when upgrading?

Can I use my own templates with all plans?

Yes! All plans work with Mockup Studio templates and your own custom PSD templates (as long as they contain smart objects).

Is there a limit to how many mockups I can create?

What if I'm not sure which plan to choose?

Use the 7-day free trial on the plan that matches your production method — Professional if you engrave, Print & Sublimation if you print. That way you're testing the effects you'd actually use. Can I access higher-tier effects on a lower plan?

No. Print effects require the Print & Sublimation plan or above, and engraving effects require Professional. Upgrading unlocks them immediately.

Are templates really included on every plan?

Yes! The full Mockup Studio template library is included free with every subscription — Standard, Print & Sublimation, and Professional. The templates themselves are the same on every plan; what changes between plans is which effects the plugin can apply.

What happens to my mockups if I cancel my subscription?

All mockups you've generated are yours to keep and use forever, even after cancelling. You just won't be able to generate new mockups until you resubscribe.

I do both engraving AND printing - which plan do I need?

You'll need the Professional plan, which includes all print effects AND all engraving effects.

Understanding Processing Types

What Are Processing Types?

Processing Types are the realistic effects applied to your designs to simulate how they'll look on different materials and with different production methods.

• Standard Plan: In the Processing Type drop-down menu, you will only be able to select No Effects (Design Placement Only)
• Print & Sublimation Plan: Print UV / Sublimation is unlocked
• Professional Plan: All Processing Types are unlocked, including all engraving effects

Available Processing Types

Print UV / Sublimation (Print & Sublimation and Professional):

Choosing this reveals a Print Type menu with six settings:

• Sublimation (colour transfer effects with high vibrancy, for ceramic, white glass and stainless steel)
• UV Print on White (for white products)
• UV Print on Wood 1 (bolder coverage; white in your design shows as bare wood)
• UV Print on Wood 2 (more grain showing; white in your design shows as bare wood)
• UV Print on Wood 3 (prints and preserves white in your design)
• UV Print on Wood 4 (prints and preserves white, with a bolder colour finish)

Engraving Effects (Professional Only):

Choosing this reveals a Substrate Type menu, then an Effect Setting menu:

• Wood Engraving (10 settings — different depths and overburn, suited to different wood tones and lighting)
• Slate Engraving (4 settings — different levels of grey in the engraved effect)
